You are asked to be a bridesmaid, now what?

The most terrifying thought about being a bridesmaid for me it's definitely having someone else command my outfit (even for that one day). I am not one of those girls who loves going shopping with girlfriends, I prefer to do it alone, I know how to differentiate and choose among what's stylish and what I want vs. what fits me well. But...what about when a good friend asks you to be a bridesmaid?

Obviously it's a great honor and it's her day so you should go with a flow and even if you are not crazy about the dress you can try to accessorize it to fit your style, your personality and so that you feel good wearing it.

Luckily, all my girlfriends have fabulous taste and are very stylish so none of them would choose one of those Disney princess- cupcake style wedding or bridesmaid dresses, we have done those pre-school and now we are over them.

When I was asked to style these Weddington Way bridesmaid dresses I tried not to overdo it with accessory but still to match the overall look to my personal preferences to show personality and feel comfortable in what I wear.
